All protection products are:

• Issued by third-party insurers
• Governed by the terms of the applicable policy
• Subject to underwriting, eligibility, and regulatory requirements

Eligibility and use

You agree to use the Platform only:

• For lawful purposes
• In accordance with these Terms
• In a manner consistent with all applicable laws and regulations

If you are using the Platform on behalf of a business, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity.

Role of Flex Embedded

Flex acts solely as:

• A technology provider
• A distribution and integration platform
• A facilitator between retailers, customers, and protection providers

Flex does not:

• Provide protection advice
• Guarantee coverage, claims approval, or payouts
• Control underwriting decisions or claims outcomes

Insurance products and coverage

Any insurance or protection product offered through the Platform:

• Is optional
• Is provided by a third-party insurer
• Is governed by the insurer's policy documents

Important:

• Coverage terms, exclusions, limits, and claims processes are defined solely by the insurer
• You should review all policy documents carefully before purchasing

Flex is not responsible for:

• Claims decisions
• Policy interpretation
• Coverage disputes

Retailer participation

Retailers using Flex Embedded:

• May offer protection products to their customers through the Platform
• May receive compensation based on participation in these programs

Flex does not guarantee:

• Revenue generation
• Conversion rates
• Customer adoption

Payments and transactions

Payments for protection products:

• Are processed through integrated payment systems
• May be collected on behalf of third-party providers

Flex may facilitate payment flow but does not act as the insurer or policy issuer.

Data and privacy

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

By using the Platform, you acknowledge:

• Information may be shared with insurers and partners as required to provide services
• Data may be used to generate quotes, bind coverage, and support claims

Intellectual property

All content, technology, and materials on the Platform are owned by or licensed to Flex Embedded.

You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute Platform content
• Reverse engineer or interfere with Platform functionality

Disclaimers

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available."

Flex makes no guarantees regarding:

• Availability or uptime
• Accuracy of quotes or pricing
• Suitability of any insurance product

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Flex disclaims all warranties, express or implied.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Flex Embedded shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Losses related to protection claims or coverage decisions
• Actions or omissions of third-party insurers or partners

Third-party services

The Platform integrates with third-party services, including:

• Protection providers
• Ecommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify)
• Payment processors

Flex is not responsible for:

• The performance or reliability of these third parties
• Their terms, policies, or actions

Modifications

Termination
